Recipes to Expel a Cold Type of Cold

Recipe 1

      Ingredients: rice (preferably sticky rice) half cup, 1 scallion white

  1. Add half a cup of rice into a pot, add 4 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 30 min. 
  2. Chop the scallion white into a few pieces. Add into the pot. Continue simmer for another 20 min.

Recipe 2

      Ingredients: cinnamon, scallion, ginger, brown sugar, dates (optional)

      1. Boil a few cups of water in a pot.

      2. Add 1-2 scallion (especially the white part). cinnamon, a few slices of ginger, brown sugar.  Add dates if you have them. Bring to a boil and simmer for about 20 mins (doesn't have to be              exact).
          (Very important part!!!) Drink it as warm as you can tolerate. Wear extra layer of clothes until you sweat just a little.
