I have nothing but positive things to say about my experiences with Emily. She is always kind and professional.

I first came to see her for pelvic pain and insomnia in the winter of 2015 and consistently saw her for 6 months. Her techniques and acupuncture helped to eliminate my pelvic pain and her meditation techniques helped me to get through some tough nights of anxiety.

I highly recommend her to anyone with physical or emotion pain.

I started seeing Emily for acupuncture at the beginning of October 2016, her service is excellent.  I had issues of a big rash and insomnia. After seeing her a few sessions, my sleeping has been improved.

She is kind, caring, and patient.

Dr. Wang is a goddess with the supreme powers of helping you release your emotions and also curing insomnia :)

I'd been struggling with little to no sleep for several weeks and sought out hypnotherapy as a solution. I've been going through a very transitional time and realized that all the changes were probably what was keeping me up. Well what's interesting is apparently the sadness from the death of my mother along with anger about various things were unbeknownst to me some of the major culprits.

I've had 2 sessions so far and in each one I've cried and released a good amount of emotion. I've also managed to fall and stay asleep consecutively which has not happened in a few weeks so I know the work she's doing is helping. I'm looking forward to doing more sessions with her to help me further release more emotions and feel freer. Thank you Dr.Wang for being so awesome!

She's also very patient flexible and kind spirited. I'm recommending her to all my friends!

I had hypnotherapy with Emily over the course of 3 years to help me clear many issues, primarily anxiety and emotion processing.  Prior to my first session, I had never experienced hypnotherapy and didn't know if it would be effective. I have previous experience with other therapies, including regular talk therapy, which was not helpful in helping me get "unstuck". I was unsure about whether this would be helpful or not, but I figured it was worth trying.

Emily is wonderful. She has a calming presence, and makes you feel at ease. While she allowed me a safe place to express my fears and doubts, she really encouraged me to be present in my body, which it seems, is the basis for hypnotherapy. One of the things that I really like about her style of hypnotherapy is that it is very solution focused.

People wonder how hypnotherapy works. For me, hypnotherapy is like when you lose your keys in your house and instead of running around trying to figure out where the keys are, you just sit down and relax and breathe deeply and let the answer come to you.

I had intended to work on insomnia, which had been a chronic problem for me. Once I started to relax in the sessions, it became apparent that a lot of my insomnia was driven by anxiety about what I planned to do the next day, and I found that this anxiety actually was driven by a desire to be liked by other people, which was driven by low self-esteem, and which was driven by early childhood experiences of fear and shame. Once I got to the bottom of all of that, the solution wasn't to be angry at my parents, the solution was to let those feelings be fully experienced and lived. Emily sat with me through sobs and tears as my conscious mind finally worked through strong emotions that I was unable to process as a child. For me, there were tears during my sessions, but I always walked out of her office feeling more alive, more open to whatever life might bring, and feeling like healing had happened inside me.

The great thing about hypnotherapy with Emily is that she is really there for you--like an amazing and supportive witness to whatever emotions you bring to the session, and a helpful guide to assist you in getting where you want to go. I also found that unlike traditional therapists, she didn't watch the clock during the session but would manage the process more through allowing you to get to the end of an issue and then develop some next steps to keep you headed in the right direction. Emily provided great resources to keep the awareness and healing process going through her self-hypnosis guides and healing thoughts that were tailored to my issues.

Highly recommend.

For many years, I can only sleep in a separate room by myself because I get up very often at night and my sleep gets easily disturbed by any noise or movement. After taking your self hypnosis class, I slept straight from 9 to 6 for the first time in years!! I am SOOO excited. I can finally sleep in the same room with my husband. Thank you!!!
